i have a 5spd lx, and lately ive been noticing that if I am driving normally, and then i suddenly put the pedal 3/4 of the way down, it will accelerate a bit, and then pause for a split second, and then keep accelerating. its not really a long pause or anything, its prolly 1/16 of a second and i can only notice it when i put the pedal about 3/4 of the way down. if i am driving grandpa style or am putting the pedal to the floor this does not happen. is this another dbw problem, kinda like the rev hang? it sorta feels like an automatic car when it does that, taking a sec to switch gears... im afraid to take it to the dealership because i usually leave pissed when the people tell me "its normal"... thanks for any help.

a 1/16th of a second is a pretty short amount of time to make a noticeable difference imo... either way sounds pretty "normal" to me, although it may be worth it to take it to the dealership for a complete diagnosis.

 

i have gotten used to it by now. i kinda like it for some reason.
