Is there a civic si hatch coming out?
as the title states is there a new hatch coming out anytime soon? My cd5 is causing problems and i wanted to get a hatch but if theres a hatch coming out soon i would prefer to get the new hatch. So does anyone know?
Yea but they messed that up if they would have put a 8,000rpm redline with a little more power no 1 would have complained its that simple i love hatchbacks.
Except the last coupe was the first out of how many generations of SI Civics? I think the coupe is here to stay for a while this time around. However, as much as I dislike hatchbacks, the Type-R coming to europe in a few months looks sweeeeet.

The reason it didn't sell as well had very little to do with the fact that it was a hatch......

i hate the hatch that was released in europe. and i agree with one of the posts, there is a pattern coup then hatch i hope it comes out. i realy want a hatch and i want to be the first owner. Its hard to find a hatch that no one has modefied in some way
There is HARDLY a pattern...Maybe in the last 6-7 years, but before that EVERY Si was a hatch from the mid 80's up to 99.Thats a long time..I dont think youll be seeing any Si hatchbacks anytime down the road...

Agreed. I doubt Honda will bring the hatch back since THEY'RE blaming poor sales on the EP3 being a hatch (how about overpriced, under-powered, under-dampened and unfortunately, sadly, out-classed by up-and-coming rivals like the Cobalt SS/SC). Looks like unless something changes drastically Honda doesn't need to bring the hatch back. The Si sedan makes that pretty clear.
