Can the leather steering wheel cover be used on a SI coupe?
Here is a picture of the steering wheel of a non-SI coupe:

My question is, how come the description says it's not for an SI? The steering wheels between the non-SI and SI look the same shape to me. Even on the official Honda website, this accessory is listed under the civic coupe, but it is not under the SI coupe. What gives?

It wont fit because the Si steering wheel is already wrapped in leather.

The 2007 Civic Si was built for people who love to drive. Grip the contoured, leather-wrapped steering wheel and 6-speed stick and step on the drilled aluminum pedal. Listen to your favorite tunes on the 350-watt audio system with 7 speakers, including an 8-inch subwoofer, MP3/digital media auxiliary jack and XM Ready® head unit. Take advantage of the WMA/MP3 capability, speed-volume control and the available navigation system. And most of all, prepare yourself: The deep, bolstered front sport seats with red stitching are going to take you for a serious ride.

yup. I know the si is already wrapped in leather, but I want something to go over it as well. My last car had a leather steering wheel, but after 5 years of use it started falling apart where I grip it the most.

Understandable. Honestly I think the accessory wrap would fit but not quite as well/tightly as it would on an EX.
