The Sedan is so new its tough to say. Yahoo Autos has an MSRP of 23,040 (w/navi) listed for it at http://autos.yahoo.com/honda_c...Zeb8F

So you could potentially talk them down maybe a few hundred. But as its not just a new year but a brand new model never sold before they might be flying out of dealerships now. Call around to other nearby Honda dealerships and see how many have it in stock, if they're all out then 24k isn't a bad price.

I have called around and some other dealers have it at

22,900 without navi, grey
24,379 with Propack (mud guards)

its all fairly close, but i want to see if everyone else are getting these are lower price or are they pretty much on the money.

24k for Si Sedan with Navi, wheel locks, and mud guard isn't bad. Is the dealer processing/delivery fee included in that?

MSRP for Navi with Summer Tires(no wheel locks/mud guard) is $23,240

I test drove the SI sedan today and I LOVED IT.. unfortunetly it does fit my finances right now.. we are talking about almot 400 a month. I am not ready for that and do not have much to put down,

I will have to wait for Bonus and Taxes. I also looked at the Accord V6 because of my Family Needs and so I have tough decision.

Yeah what blue said. Make sure you do all the research you can and go in with your guns fully loaded. Remeber, dealer invoice on those cars is about 19500K. Which means they pick the cars up for a little cheaper. Demand means ****. If the dealership has a large inventory and they pump out a large volume they should be more acceptable of a lower starting price. If you look around on the FG threads alot of people are getting non navi SI coupes OTD for about 21500 which means the dealer sold it for about 500 or so over invoice. If you can wait and search around you will always find the dealership that will sell for the price you are willing to pay. Dont let them bs you. F*ck sales people.

I would have to agree with red. If you walk away from negotiations they will either chase after you and try to bring a better offer to the table or they will let you walk out and end up calling you in a few days for a follow up. I received a call from a dealership i had a bad experience with and they immediately were more willing to negotiate. Salesman need your business.

so you would expect a lot of money for a car with a bad tranny?

If you think youre actually gonna get one for even MSRP youre sorrily mistaken. We just sold 2 for $5k over sticker...yes $5k over sticker. A guy had previously offered $2k over sticker and the mgr said no, he ended up buying an EX coupe. We then later sold the same car we refused the $2k offer for $5k over.

What I'm wondering tho is why would you even bother with the Si when the RSX-S can be had for less money and is a nicer car? Acura dealers cannot bump the sticker price and will sometimes even discount the vehicle.

We bother with the SI because the RSX-S in California is pretty much unavailable due to the fact that they have been discontinued. Trust me I did my research on the RSX-S and no dealerships had any new inventory. And the only used inventory they had consisted of 04 RSX (non S model) with mileage. Its just stupid for anyone to buy a car over MSRP. 2K or even 5k is a rip off for an 07 SI. OTD you are looking to pay anywhere from 27k-30k for an SI? No thanks, i would much rather go find a EVO or pay 30k for a 350Z for that price. There are plenty of dealerships that wont mark up what so ever. There is a dealership out here in Ontario that prides themselves on "no mark up". You just have to find the right dealership and wait for your car to come in. to dealers that try to mark up car

Only idiots would by from an UNETHICAL dealership such as yours that is price gouging customers. Unfortunately, there are enough idiots in the world to keep sleazy dealerships in business. Then salesman wonder why customers look at them as bottom feeders.......hmmm.......I dunno......

Jon

PS: I got offered flat invoice in an Si Sedan with Navi (IIRC something around the $19.5k quoted above) but I am waiting for them to offer $5-600 below now.

Hey CivicCoupe, I just bought a Si Sedan at Norm Reeves, Hungtinton Beach, for 21,000 which includes destination, wheel locks, and mud guards!! Im not sure about a price for navi. I paid this price about 2-3 weeks ago. I seriously bought the car in under an hour there.

Anyone paying more than 21,000 in socal is being ripped off. Shoot, you could probably get it for less. If you want the name of the person (happes to be the fleet manager) PM me.
