any new news? Any new competitors? rumors? What will happen with the revamped H2?

I'll start some rumors.
- Prima Racing will be back in 2007 but only 1 car effort.
- Kraus will be back for full assault on the title. This time he has a new weapon under the hood
- Mike Lock is building a new H1 car.
- The Downey with Redstone is coming with 2 cars. 1 is H1 and the other is H2
- Meris is coming back in H1, maybe with new power plant.
- The National Champ will defend his title in West Coast crossover as well as in Mid Ohio!
- Bernardo with HASPORT car will try to run full season, now that the car is well sorted. Maybe even go to the Nationals to get a crack at it.

Any more rumors?

another rumor for the West coast h1 is, that i will try and not get lapped by the h1 guys

 

Redstone is pushing for 4 cars in 2007. 1 car will most likely be in H1 and the other 3 will probably be in H2. Nothing confirmed yet. 2 of the 4 cars still need to be completed. It should be a fun year with lots of racing

 

yes, Redstone will try to get four cars out there. I know either Mark or Brent will run H1 and Devin and I (Graham) will most likely run H2.

I should be screaming along in my B16A (H2) while Devin will be running his JDM ITR (B18C, H2). Mark and Brent are still work out details i believe.


Andrie.. whats up with Kenji? Is he not planning on running at all?

 

East Coast rumors

-Scott Giles is building an H1 car
-there *may* be significantly more H4 participation

As of now, I am planning to move to the east coast around mid-March. I am planning to put my car up for sale soon. If the car doesn't get sold before I leave, I may try to participate in some races depending on my schedule.

Dr. Z and Team Lo Buk will field 4 HC cars, with 3 of them in H5. All will be driven to the track. Most will be driven back home...

Rumor has it I will be in a seat once again. I dunno if its really true, but someone does...

 

I will be running the entire year in the Aerodynamic Solutions CRX in H4. Need to test many products and racing is the best place to do this. In addition, I found many sponsors and I need to race to comply with my agreements. Would like to run the enduro season as well, but we'll see. Meanwhile, the H4 Teg is being built up slowly to eventually compete, but I don't expect the car to be ready this season.

 

Ill be out for my rookie season on the eastcoast with my H2 ITR

You could always fit one or more of the cars with a hitch in case one of the other cars needs a tow.

Are you sure it's H2? Did you read the new rulebook? j00 might want to run H3, or at least see where the crowd goes.

Rumor: My ITR gets rebuild and debuts at Mid-O in April in the new H2
Rumor: Half of the new rules are revised before the first Honda-Challenge race. Don't go out and buy ballast yet hehehe
Rumor: Colin B is building an H1 car
Rumor: Lots of midwest-ish ITA hotshoes will race their 5 HC races to get to the NASA Championships in H4

I heard H1 will be the biggest class in Nationals this year. Of course, with Hartanto ended up in the top podium again

The way it sounds to me is that the bulk of the people will be in fact running in H2 and thats where I wanna be . Although my car wouldnt be built to the extreme edge of the classing, it will still be competitive and seeing as how ive been driving with a lot of the perspective H2 participants for a long time, I feel that is the class where I would have the most fun

Thats not a rumor, rather its a dream or you've had too much egg nog (the real deal egg nog and not the stuff sold at the grocery store). I think Bernardo might be itching to get that top spot on the podium this year so the Nats should provide plenty of excitement for the kiddies.
