Default from h23 to h22

I have a 4th gen with a busted H23 in need of rebuilt but ive decided to just drop a H22 because its more power for the money. Now my question is. Are their any major modification i have to do after dropping it in? Will all the wiring fit right on? What about the Engine Mounts? I have searched but it didnt really tell me much.

you didnt search hard enuf. its basically a bolt in. use the h23 rail with the h22 injectors so you dont havta mod a fuel line. depending on ur year prelude it may be prewired for vtec if it is that eliminated running the 2 vtec wires. and i used the h23 external dizzy. thats about it pretty simple.

What exactly did you use as a search parameter?

Try looking in the faq's for your answers as this is a very common swap.

I have a 94 Prelude Si. After i talked to my mechanic, he said the swapping part is going to be easy, its just the wirings that will cost me. Then again, he mostly works on domestics.

quick question on the prewired cars, do you have to do anything on the ecu side, like add tabs for the p13 ecu, or is it plug and play?
