3/4 power
Ok so i went out for a nice drive down some curvy, but open country roads. I had about a little under a quarter tank of gas, so i stopped by a gas station i never go to and put in 16 dollars of 93 octane fuel, reset my milage and took off. About 29 miles into my adventure after hitting tripple digits several times i turned around and started off up a hill and decided to hit the gas, because no gas no turns. As i started up the hill i realized i had about 3/4 of the power i usually have its not as loud and the rpm's dont go up like they should. I checked oil and its fine. Any suggestions All i can think of is bad gas?? there is no check engine light and the engine souds like its running good at idle, just no kick in the ***. HELP

yall are all retarted. i just noticed the problem as i started uphill, i had to drive 25 miles to get back home (its not all up hill) and still 3/4 power or maybe less i let it set for an hour, drove again and the same thing no power, this drives me crazy
theres a station by my house thats run down, and my friend put their gas in his gsr one day, same thing happened, isnt it illegal for a gas station to put water in the tank?

Most likely your gas....probably had condensation in the gas stations tank....and which they don't sell much premium fuel anyway. just drain it and put fresh fuel in from a reputable company. 17mm drain on the gas tank at the left rear wheel.

Wouldn't that work against the added detergents in gas or in fact lower the octane ratings? Also wouldn't it work against you for emissions testing? Where did you hear this from? I hope that isn't true.

This maybe totally wrong But I was always under the impression that water would sink over time in the gas tanks. So I always heard it was bad to fill up when a tanker came to fill up the tanks. Reason being the tanker would stir up the water when filling.
