Default Spoon LSD

Does anyone know who make them? Does it require a lot of maintenance compare to stock?

I would rather get Quaiffe, if you're forking over for an aftermarket LSD.

Quaiffe > Spoon

Quaiffe > Spoon
Quaife = 1 way, Spoon = 1.5 way. Spoon is lighter weight, 1.5 way and clutch-type.

I went with the Spoon over the Quaife. The quaife is like a stock unit, only a little better.

ATS are awesome. I am running Spoon and itis definitely better compare with the KAAZ that I used to have. KAAZ only locks a bit better over stock and I think it is quite mild.

How much maintenance is required for the spoon unit, as well as the ATS unit?

This might be silly question, but compares to a 1 way LSD, how would a 1.5 way affect turn in and acceleration out of corners as well as the car's line? I've been curious as to how the 1.5 way would make the car handle on the track compared to the stock diff.

If it's clutch type LSD like the Spoon or ATS, what type of transmission oil is required? Also, how long will it last before the the plate has to be changed?

for KAAZ they recommend their own oils.....
Endless offers their diff fluid.

Amsoil seems to work for some....as does Redline...

I dunno what the preferred oil of choice these days are....it's probably Endless.

The plates have to be changed....well depends on how hard you drive.
