Default 93 Hatch- interested in teg front end coversion

ok i tried to post this in the apperance forum, but it said im not autorized so i did it here

i am interested in doing a integra front end conversion on my 93 hatch. just looking for a guide to this i searched and found cars done already but couldnt find a parts list or exactly what i need to do... is it as easy as just swapping the pannels over(fenders, hood and bumper and rad support stuff?) or is there welding and cutting and body work involved? and info or a link to a guide would be appreciated and if u got a car wit the conversion, post me a few pics if ya can so i can get an idea of what its gona look like. i am doing this regardless of the amount of work but just want to know what to do thats all

thanks

dude, with the money you're going to spend doing this "conversion", you're better off just buying a teg.

I'm not hating man, its just most of the time conversions like this are pointless IMO.

the obvious, bumper, hood, fenders, headlights, there'll be cutting and welding involved.
then lets not forget the painting afterwards. modding the eg front end so everything fits properly and doesn't look crooked as all hell.

well lol i know what the obvious parts are and ya the whole car is getting painted soon anywayz so i want to get it done before then. but what exactly will be cut and welded? the fenders? what am i gona do cut part of the EG fender and cut part of the Teg fender and weld them together? this is to make the proper fitment for the door i am assuming? other than that welding and cutting, is there anything else to be cut/welded?

how is the teg front bumper fitment on the EG? will it line up somewhat or will i need to replace the support, the mounting locations and everything?

ok cool and do i have the right idea on the fenders or is there more to it than that? how is the wheel housing clearance look? do i need to cut anything from that area? does the hood use the eg mounting locations or do i need to move them also?

This type of conversion is definitely meant for those who have experience with converting vehicles. Its somewhat trial and error. Cut a little see if it fits properly, cut a little more, and see if the parts fit etc. Add on something here or something there to make sure the fender or bumper or hood has something to hold onto etc. I'd say you're better off letting a licensed and trained auto body specialist handle this job. Or better yet, sign up for a few autobody courses and see if the professor would be willing to help you with this project as you're going through the course or using your vehicle as a project vehicle in the course for the more advanced students. Its not like swapping out mufflers or adding a strut tower bar.

Listen up you little 19 year old puke I didn't say that that was the link you were looking for I just gave you an example of what I found in only a few min. Why the F#@k should I read through over 155 post to find something that you want. That link was just to show you that this ? has been covered and there were photos of a few cars with it done to them. You did ask for that try contacting the poster of the photos<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by shanepa2001 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">ok

age has absoulty nothing to do with this at all ok. i m just so sick of every other thread i read on this site is just a question from someone and then someone has to say "u need to search for that" and **** like that and its just defeating the purpose of everything. people r asking questions to people they hope have experience doing it and are willing to help. ya i use the search button and so do alot of people but really most people have a life and dont have time to read 150 full threads, some very very long, to get a simple 1 or 2 paragraph answer. obviosly it would have just been easier for u to explain a little bit to me rather than try and look like ur more mature than me because ur 32 and i am 19 is ridiculous. I have fucked women older than u
