ahh ANOTHER exedy clutch problem (I'm going nuts)
OK here's the problem everytime I release my clutch in 1st, 2nd or reveare there is a squeking noise. Sound like a spring squeking or something. Its not my exhaust or motor mounts its definalty something in the clutch. What could this be, do I have to lube something up. Or do I have to have someone take apart my trans and pay more money to find out what someone else fugged up
i hate my pos exedy, i have the same problem, i jsut adjsuted my clutch metal a little, it seems as though hte sqeaks and rattle go away if you move the pedal out
are you serious?? thats supposed to happen?? just turn up the radio?? you must be kidding, there is on way to fix this problem. If I move the clutch out any in will make that crazy noise when I depress the clutch fully, if I don't it will make this other noise, is there any way to fix or not??

my clutch return springs actually clicks on my ITR. it comes and goes. doesn't bother me that much as it has no effect on shifting at all. i am going to try a couple of things to see if i can't get it to quit.

i have a squeeeeek and a click in mine. its annoying as **** because it takes away from some of the "feel" of the car you know? my tech said it maybe a bad clutch bearing(throw out, pivot bearing? I forget what he said exactly) and it will be replaced when i get the new one installed, so im not even sweatin it...for now.
Could it possibly be the throwout bearing making the noise? Mine made a squeaking sound, and it was found to be a bad throwout bearing.
its got nothing to do with the clutch, so don't blame Exedy. All you need to do is lube the slave cylinder rod with any decent rubber or brake grease, takes about 2 mins to do and your problem is solved. My noise disappeared on the second pedal application after I lubed the slave cylinder rod and has not returned since. I put up a post on this about 1-2 weeks ago on how to address the problem. The slave cylinder rod is exposed by sliding the clutch fork boot all the way to the right , exposing the slave cylinder boot, then pull the slave cylinder boot all the way to the right (exposing the slave cylinder rod), apply a good dose of grease on the slave cylinder rod and return all the boots to original location in reverse order. You may want to apply the grease with the pedal fully depressed, I didn't , but thinking about it afterwards that may work better, dunno. My application worked fine though, it just took a couple pedal applications for the grease to work its way along the entire rod. This should be considered normal regular maintenance, happens to stock clutch Hondas as well as after market clutch Hondas, no bearing to any clutch you are running. good luck.

Also, look in your footwell, make sure your clutch MS isn't leaking brake fluid down the firewall. Also grease the slave cylinder rod as stated above, bleed the system, and try it then. If you still have a squeaking noise, time to pull the transmission as Willard said.
At that point I would replace your throwout bearing, clean and re-grease the pivot point on the clutch fork (must remove fork to access), grease throwout bearing, and grease mainshaft as well. That should take care of it. If you still have squeaking, you may want to look at having a professional take a look at it.
