Default Aftermarket Oil Pressure Gauge Question

For all you guys running an electrical oil pressure gauge with the T at the firewall...did you guys make a relief loop with the braided line or just ran it straight to the firewall? Thanks.

i dont think the if you have a braided line you even need a releive loop, the line flexes on its own.

i went back to the shop and had another braided line made at 35 inches so I have enough to make a loop. How did you guys ground the unit since it was remote mounted?

Autometer, but I was referring to the sending unit since it was meant to ground itself when you screw it into the block and a firewall mount nixes that

What size T did you use? I got a 1/8th brass t but the factory sending unit doesnt screw into it (suprise suprise) The autometer one does as well as my braided line. Do I have to get a reducer or just a bigger size T and use more fittings on the autometer unit and the braided line?

I pulled the knock sensor instead of the oil pressure sensor hahahaha. The oil pressure unit only has one wire going to it. The knock sensor has a roundish plug on it (for people trying to do this themselves searching)
