Default Running rich, have tried everything

Well ive tried everything in the book and my car (92 Si 5 speed H23a) is still running pig rich....i get about 14 mpg which is HORRIBLE..ive changed all the sensors checked the injectors/rings. Cleaned out the fuel system, egr...basically everything i could find on how to fix this issue and its still running rich. What ive been thinking is maybe im running a different ECU, my timing is randomly jumping around from way retarded to advanced by 3 degrees. Could it be a possibility my car has the wrong computer. let me know thanks

doesn't hurt to look at your ECU to see if its a P14...

I wouldn't be surprised to see a P28 with some type of ebay jun chip, possible the owner before you tried to do some "uber cool mods!"

If it's not that and your not throwing any codes, the computer might be stuck in open loop mode, does the car seem to pick up at all if you get into the higher RPMS(like LOTS of pick up)?

yea the car doesnt have a top speed limiter i was expecting ignition cut at around 140...ive taken it all the way to a 150(according to my friends radar)..and it picks up ALOT after 4k rpm...

try and swap a known working P14 in and see if it cleans up.

Are you throwing any codes? seem to me the car got stuck in open loop mode and is ignoring sensors and everything.

You could try unpluging the 02 sensor and running the car, if nothing changes then your in open loop mode and yoru computer is ignoring that sensors output anyway.

Check the air filter, make sure it's not dirty of wet or covered in anything. Could try replacing ur fuel filter too. Do u have an aftermarket fuel pump on ur car? What psi is ur fuel pressure at?

AEM intake, Ractive 4-1 headers, MSD 6A ignition, MSD coil...whatever, basically is BPU the timing is set stock because i dont want to pump race gas all the time. New fuel filter, new plugs (denso platinum), MSD wires (8mm), cap rotor (oe), distributor (new oe). MAP, Knock, O2 ($$$$), tps..(new oe).....

so im at a loss right now, what is open loop mode..and how the hell can i turn it off?

edit:
As for codes..the check engine light comes on after the car heats up to operating temp..then the idle drops to around 600 rpm and the car starts bogging a little bit. i tried jumping the service connector, and nothing comes up on the cel...gay

make sure you are using the right connecter.

And check to see if you ecu fuse is blown or your clock/ radio. I believe both are under the hood.

I would say you need to find out what the code is. and maybe borrow a good p14.

O2 sensor is not working, for whatever reason... The car is running open loop. I'm assuming stock injectors?

Things to try:

1) Try unhooking the MSD 6A. MSD is such a pile of ****, they always go bad after awhile. Try running stock ignition and see if it improves. Also try stock ignition wires too.
2) Check your grounds. First step is to measure the resistance between one of the GND wires on your ECU harness against a bolt in the chassis. Anything more than a few ohms is bad. The best way to do this is to put an o-scope on the GND wire, but not many have the tools for this.
3) Check your sensors. A bad TPS or MAP sensors will send everything to ****. Make sure TPS goes from 0-5v when you step on the gas pedal. Do this with the electrics on, engine off. Make sure your MAP is somewhere around 0.4V with power on (same conditions).
4) Pop off the cover on your P14. Look for anything brown colored. Brown = something fried.

That should get you started.
