I've searched, I was wondering what are the effects of the car running lean? what are the effects to the engine if it is running lean?I know what lean is so don't give me another explaination of that. Thanks for any info you guys can provide me.

Lean is too much air per fuel molecule to continue safe operation of an engine (but you said you already knew that).

Lean mixtures will do the following:

1.) increase in-chamber temperatures thus creating premature wear and increased likelihood of detonation due to precombustion.

2.) burn out oxygen sensors with the higher exhaust temperatures.

3.) if "slightly" lean (12.7-13.0 : 1), you'll probably see a performance gain.

4.) if massively lean (14.0 : 1+ under load) you'll probably start melting pistons and valves and blowing holes in your block .

Overall, lean is bad and unsafe.

get a FPR and raise the fuel pressure a bit.
