Default Power windows??

I already know about the JDM/EDM power windows but today i was working on my friends 2000 civic cause his window came off track. the thing i noticed is that the regulator/arm looks VERY similar to the CRX. Has anyone contemplated/done a conversion from a newer civic? just a question, it may be dumb but i figure if it has been done..someone on HT has done it! thanks

Probably can be done.
Might just have to make new holes to mount the tracks if they dont line up...
I put the JDM ones in mine, had to do some tweeking but it goes in the same.

yeah i figured the track issue....ive also been looking at the Spal kit, not a bad deal and there is already a writeup or two floating around for specifics on CRX. I just want to ditch the old system entirely though, not just add an arm that cranks for you. i may just have to bite the bullet and get the JDM or EDM. Thanks

That actually sounds easier then what i did (puttin the jdm ones in) cuz with the jdm ones, you have to mess aorund with the wiring..and its a royal PITA!
