h22 crankshaft dowel pin problem?

Default h22 crankshaft dowel pin problem?

i was wondering does our crankshaft has a dowel pin for the crankshaft??? is it possible to run the flywheel on the crankshaft without it because the shop told me that its ok to run it without it because it have 8 bolts holding it to the crank already??? does anyone know if it is true or wut will hapen?? also what does the dowel pin do anyways if theres 8 bolts already???

dowel pins essentially give it more stability and dont allow the two pieces that are bolted together to shift.

wanna know the reason 2g 4g63 heads get crankwalk? they dont have dowel pins on the block deck to keep the head aligned with the block. The 1g 4g63 has the dowel pins and as a result does not get crankwalk.

Not only that but also it lets you install the crankshaft in a way that the timing marks are correct.

is there a possible way to fix the dowel pin on the crankshaft because he said my flywheel sheerd it in half? does nyone have a picture of how the dowel pin looks like on the crank
