Seems like the writing on the wall for comp 4 was there last year, just a last ditch effort saved it. Be interesting to see just what tires are allowed in Power Street.

what good is a drag racing sanction w/o an allmotor street class???

not to **** anyone off, but i have always thought NHRA is a much more professional sanction anyway. especially after the way ndra dicked around before last season. its just too bad slicks arent allowed in SS.

seems like ndra is more worried about drifting and car shows rather than drag racing. guess they have to go where the $$ is. look how many cars compete in bracket. that = $$$, doesnt matter that its probably the most boring class to watch

oh well, getting rid of comp 4 is only putting $$ into NHRAs pockets.
i bet it wont be long before NHRA allows slicks in an allmotor street class

wtf?! damn unfortunately i havent had a chance to compete in this class. with the shortened schedule and talk of increased payouts i was looking forward to actually doing some racing next season. greg was even talking today about making the trip to texas. hope they change thier mind.

atleast they are going to change the tire rule in power street... i know that makes some boost guys happy.

I think getting rid of comp4 is a bad idea, specially in these days were E.T.s are getting lower, that was one of my favorite class to watch.

I know we need to support the guys who are stepping up and running thease events but its gettting rediculus(sp) when they worry more about the swinsuit comp than the racing. Jesus just watch tunervision mabey 10min of the half hour is racing the rest swinsuit or car show. Props to NHRA

Yah i just realized that. Biased Plys in Power Street. Should be interesting

 

I can see axing nopi chic, as turnout was very weak this year. But I felt that comp 4 had some great turnouts and racing.

ALOT of people love Comp4, its a sick class to watch.

 

it doesnt matter, they keep making the wrong choices over and over again so the NDRA wont be around to much longer anyway.

 

well if comp4 is out , you all can come and race up here in canada we have a class just like that in CSCS called ss/am i compete in it .... all the info is on http://www.CSCS.ca

I agree the MIR events and even Norwalk had pretty good turnouts for comp 4. those were the only events I made it to so that is all I can speak for.
