I had my car in at car star on the southern part of Transit to get my window replaced, my car buffed, and my dash repaired after some thief ripped all the crap apart ... Then I brought it home and installed my new deck and door speakers which took a few weeks being I can work on it 1 night a week.. But now my drivers side door wont lock?!?!?!!!! Doors closed, hit the remote lock, and the passenger side door locks but not drivers side, it moves a little bit but it doesnt lock!, you can't even lock it manually from within the car!! Anyone know of a quick fix!? I'm bringing it to Honda or Car Star at 3pm today if nobody posts..

 

The door lock is thrown by an electric actuator connected by a steel rod. That shop may have bent or kinked that rod or possibly, it's hanging up on something in the door, like the window track. Pop the door panel off and see what the deal.

 

ya what he said, my car has non power locks, one of plastic parts in the inside lock part broke on mine, so i have to lock it from outside, which means i can leave my windows down more i guess

 

checked, nothing... i tried locking it manually via the rods, if the one rod didnt work i tried it from the next.. and so on till the lock.. could the lock thing be broke???!
