K so to start off my car was broken....I thought it was the distributor so i fiddled with it a lilttle..I tried to use my coil in my girlfriends LS it ran then I swithced it back to hers....after I put her car back together..it ran but now it bogs out..you press the gas and then it bogs..but if u hold the gas lightly and let it rev up past 2000rpms then it can freely rev and sound fine.I drove the car and it really struggles to move.you have to rev the **** out of it to get it moving with out bogging out too much.....I switched the distributor,still did the same..I changed map sensor...and I put her ecu ion my car and it runs just fine..So Idk where else to start next...what else could I check for guys cause my girlfriend is kinda pissed that I inconvinienced her..welll lmk thanks

check the timing...

 

if u screwed around with the dizzy make sure u made all the connections to the coil and everything nice and tight, and also check to make sure ur spark plugs wires are in the right holes of ur distributor, u might have switched the order around. Check if it's only running on 3 cylinders, u can tell by lightly and quickly touching each part of the header for each cylinder, or put a drop of water on each and it should evaporate fast, if one doesn't or is completly cold then that cylinder isn't running. Also, are u getting any cels?

all connections on good..igniter coil cap n rotor is cherry...timing is good we even tried advancing n retarding didnt work...tried to change wires didnt work...ecu is good...i was thinking maybe the injectors got clogged or sumtin.cause sometimes the gas is runnings a little on E so idk if it sucked up any crap at the bottom of the tank....but while the gas was low the day it broke..filled up $30 drove 30 miles and then wen we messed with the dizzy all this crap happened so idk what do u think...n the check light isnt on so we didnt check if was throwing any codes yet

 

did u make marks on the dizzy mount so u knew where to line it back up???? id say check that timing one more time. if it was runnin fine and then all the sudden didnt work cuz u swapped em, its def the timing.....its very sensitive....it should be lined up exactly how it was.

 

yup I lined it up exact....when it didnt work I tried a little this way n a little that way...still no work good..bog out ..could my injector be clogged?

 

use a timing gun. Does it hold at idle? or dies out? whats idleing rpm? did u check sparkplugs?
