Default Easiest way to separate axle and half shaft??

i need to separate my axle from the half shaft, and i was just wondering wat the easiest way to do that is?

Just gotta pull and tug until it comes out, sometimes it's kinda hard, just pull and turn until it comes out.

you could use a long flathead screwdriver.

pry bar
slowly pry little then push out
i found for my self that
if i pry+wiggle axle it comes off in a sec

Beat it with a mallet while turning it. Thats the fastest way I've ever gotten it out. There has to be a better way to put those damn things in our cars. Such a pain in the ***.

sorry wasnt specific enough, its not in the car the halfshaft and axle are outa the car and i need to separate the 2 peices

do you mean pulling the axle from the intemediate shaft or cv joint off. the axle?

Use a large rubber hammer, the ones that have the harder yellow rubber. Turn and bang. Quick hard wacks and it'll come out.

I always use a large flathead screwdriver on the inner joint of the axle, and hit the screwdriver with a hammer.
