Default rims for my 97

I have a friend who is offering me some 18 inch ADR rims for 300 w/o tires. I think its a good deal cause they are brand new and never used but what i want to know, are ADR rims any good? I have never heard of that brand. has anyone heard of ADR? please let me know. thanks

if they look good to you andt you arent interested in spirited driving...do the damn thing.18 tires arent cheap, ill tell you that much n you seem to be on a buget so spend $200 more and get 17s w/tires.

ADR are alright. they are pretty good for the price. iam7head is just hating because hes a baller ...j/p...i have no knowledge of iam7heads finances.

yea, ADRs arent very strong. my friend useto have a set of ADR sukodus(sp?) and he hit a curb, dont remember how fast he was going though, but it shattered into like 7 pieces.

ok thanks thats good for telling me cause i aint getting them. but instead im going to buy a set of rims by motegi and they are called riax. I heard motegi rims were good but if there is anything that are bad about them can you let me know? they are 18 with 2 inch deep chrome lip.

what kinda driving do you plan on doing? like jus around town kinda stuff or are you wantin to race? 18's are pretty heavy onna car. if you're jus gonna drive n make your car look nice then that'd prolly be good.

From what it seems, Motegis are good...the ones I'm after are the TrakLites....in 15x7.they are around $250 each...then plus tires...

i have motegis and they arent bad...have had them for a couple years now and they still look brand new...i take care of them tho and have never hit anything with them...

I have 17" Motegi FF7's that are glossy black with the chrome lip. I love them, they look very very nice when they are cleaned properly, but its hard to keep them clean with brake dust, gotta love it . But yeah I like them and never had a problem so good luck.
