I'm ready to purchase a cat, yes I've heard that dave at sms makes great cats but it's kind of pricey, I was looking at this Magnaflow/carsound 93506 model? He told me it was too long, but couldn't I shorten it by cutting it?

If Dave is telling you something, there's a good reason. He knows what he's talking about, and has tested numerous different cats. Honestly, when you factor in the cost of flanges, bungs, and welding, his cats are reasonably priced, and they bolt right on.

 

yeah but alot of people here have carsound and magnaflow cats that are way cheaper too. Any other suggestions.

 

im running a 2.5 omni power test pipe with my jdm header and it fit perfect

Yes, you can buy the universal cat for less, but then you have to add in the cost of the flanges, O2 bung, and welding.
