I have a 93 integra with a gs-r motor. When I did this swap I had a p30 chipped ECU. My v-tec was hittin at 4800rpm's. Now I have a stock p28 ECU and its still opening at the same rpm's. Does anyone know whats the problem?

 

its VTEC not v-tec why do you not have the p30 anymore? why dont you chip the p28 if you wnat to change vtec engagement.

 

um.... 4800 too early? i coulda sworn 4400 was normal...

 

do you have a b17 or b18c1?

 

hmm, i thought vtec engaged. since when does it crack?

does your gsr motor have the stock intake manifold or was it replaced. what modifications do you have done to it, if any?

put some crack in the gas tank next time you fill up. you'll see.

B16A is 5500.
