People love the 5th generation, including me. When the look seems to stray to much the 5th generation it seems to flop. That's what happened with a recent one.
Last forever and look real good when you put a little money into it. 6th gen had transmission issues.

6th gen has automatic transmission issues. The 5-speeds are just fine.

I prefer my 6th generation Accord over the 5th generation because it's roomier.

i think the 4th gen is when accords started to get really popular.. and from then up its kinda hard to measure because they are everywhere.

 

Well, for sure 4th gens are really fun to own and drive. I own one and it's more fun to drive than my 07' one.

 

Yeah, If I got another Accord it would either be 4th or 5th gen. Both are very reliable. After a while everything becomes to computerized and complicated which can make it difficult to work on etc..

 

uglier..? idk about that, i've been around both generations but I think 6th gen looks a lot more aggressive when done right..

sorry guys but I am not a fan of the 5th gen...
Love my 6th gen coupe even with the tranny issues... a little TLC and it loves me right back...

 

5th gen for my daily driver, dropped w/rims

my car is a 96, CD7 its still a 5th gen right?

 

5th gens, (especially 94-95 EX) with just a simple drop and everything else stock, it still looks clean. cant really do that with any other gens IMO.

I really like that gen, im actually looking to get one. however, theyre not the most popular gen in my area. 5th gen's are definitely the most popular here.

 

Yup, not too many cars can beat an H22 swapped CB7. (Not talking about in a race, just the overall fun of the car). Cars nowadays are too advanced, they took away all the fun of driving.
