Jorge Lazcano accident.(video)
Jorge Lazcano, Nhra modified runner up champion had a pretty bad accident saturday night in puerto rico. Right before passing the 1/4 mile the driveshaft broke on the rx7 making the car get out of control and impactiing the wall pretty hard. Thanks god Jorge was fine ,The Rx7 is already in a chassi shop being repaired. here is a video of the accident.

that's nuts... Luckily he's ok...
Rotary's have a thing with breaking driveshafts...
a couple of years ago Able broke one and crashed, Carlos lopez did the same.
We had the same thing happen to us but lucky for us it was in the burnout.
No more messing around with lightweight driveshafts, we now have a chromoly mw shaft.

wasnt that car supposed to debut two years ago?
i thought lazcano was campaining the 7 for the full nhra schedule next year??? so will the prorwd car be out with another driver, or not out at all???
prorwd needs some of the puerto rican drivers mixing it up next year

Lazcano was just the driver for the Rx7 Pica Motors owns the RX7. The 350Z was supposed to come out last year but Tim McAmis was supposed to do the car but he was so booked up with cars that they had to sent the chassi to PR to be finished there. They are not sure which Nissan engine they are going to use. Oso who is the car turner has said that if they use the motor that they had in the old 300Z he should run 6.60 - 6.70 easily.
