Lets see Hondas driven on the streets with Lexan Windows
hmm, sweet idea, but lexan scratches mad easy. I don't think there's going to be a terrible amount of driven street hondas, maybe some street legals that go out every now and then. Speed glass is a good alternative though, doesnt really scratch but it's just as light.

If you buy the cheaper XL10 lexan , it'll yellow, haze, and scratch faster/easier than the more durable MR10 lexan.

Ask Rand0m on ClubCivic and he might have some pics of his old 5G hatch with FAL rear sides.
His car ended up being vandalized though. Someone threw rocks through those windows and they shattered. They looked much more dangerous to be around than stock safety glass.

Because, it makes the car lighter... DUH.

Same reason you put CF parts on a streetcar... Respect points!

im pretty sure XL10 is guaranteed not to yellow or crack for 10 years. We sell hurricane shutters and the GE warranty shet on front of me states that
I doubt anyone will have their honda for 10 years

nope
Sorry but no one in this forums puts CF on their car to make it lighter
If they were actually concerned about weight they would leave stock brakes, use real pads, 14" wheels etc
its for bling points
I wouldnt screw around with lexan though. I dont think most of it spiderwebs like a glass windshield does.
