Default Going to replace my DC header back to OEM one!

Hi everyone! I would like to know is it ok to put back on my oem header since it been sitting around in my garage for 4 years? Should I worry about dust or anything? Reason why I am going back to oem because my dc headers seems louder than it was when I first put it on. recently I heard a rattle that I think cause by an exhaust leak or something and since I am going to have to have it check, might as well put back on the oem one to have that nice quiet idle sound. Can someone suggest what I should do?

Thanks

If your interested, i got a used dc sport header off my 97 gsr. Took it off to put on my edelbrock one. Still in good condition, make me an offer. I live in Dinuba, but go to school at Fresno state, i can meet up with you somewhere to show it to you.

To answer ur question ur oem header should be fine. Try and wipe off the dust on the top if u want, or else it might burn and smell bad but that's all. Should work just fine, just won't have the extra few horsepower of an aftermarket header, and plus it's kind of a pain trying to remove/install a header with the engine in the car.

I suggest replacing the DC with another aftermarket header, OEM manifold sux cus it'll rattle give time. I have a SS DC header in my garage to replace the OEM one because I cant stand the OEM rattle. Not really for the performance gain.

BTW, do you play CVS2? if you play MVC 2? I can pwn u in CVS 2 or 3s. =P

Taking off the header seems easy enough, at least straight foward.

Thanks for the offer but I do not need another aftermarket header. Thanks for all the suggestions guy. To 98 4DR GSR, I do play CVS and 3s, but those are not my main games. I play mainly MVC2. Are you going to the tournament in SJ on 12/14 - 12/15?
