Default Half-Radiator for CRX

So here's the scoop,

I've got an 89' CRX that i've swapped a B18 LS into. It's receiving a turbocharger and the works, stock motor.

I need a half-size radiator. That, and my current full-size original radiator leaks.

Any suggestions? I'd prefer a radiator that's aluminum, and that i don't have to ghetto-lean for it to fit right.

Anyone rocking a custom radiator? How much do those run?

thanks,
richard

95-99 Neon non A/C radiator. It fits amazingly well. You will need to also purchase an in-line water filler neck along with a radiator cap.

I am curious abou this as well. I am looking for an aluminum half radiator too. I heard the EG radiators were too tall? Can anyone varify this? Also where can you buy a aluminum half radiator for a CRX? I know fluidyne has them but there the exact same price as the full radiators which I personally think is BS! Any help??

Go with the NEON radiaotor mentioned above or get a crossmember that allows you to correctly use an EG radiator. That's pretty much your only two options unless you want to pay $$$$

I forgot to mention that I have the Z10 Front Traction bar/crossmember so I can use a EG radiator. Where can I pick up one of those in aluminum for cheap?

I'm not sure if the Z10 allows you to use an EG or not. I know the LSD and innovative ones do. If not you could probably fab up some tabs to make it work pretty easily. You can get a dual core OEM eg radiator from a Del Sol vtec or get on ebay and get an aluminum radiator off of there.

I would get a good one like fluidline or koyo. There's no use in shitting around with the functionality of a motor.

Yeah, there was just a recent post about the ebay radiators. It's such a simple thing, it's hard to screw up. Ebay radiator would be fine IMO.

We sell EG Dual core radiators for $50, great quality, used them on a turbo car and never had an issue. They will not just bolt into a crx chassis, you need to make brackets for the bottom and the top.

Not the best picture of the radiator, but I think you can see the fitment. It's a 95-99 Neon NON-A/C (<--very important).
