hondata s300 / jdm itr help needed

hondata s300 / jdm itr help needed
ok guys i have a jdm itr which has the jdm vtec solenoid. For you that dont know the jdm solenoid does not have a oil pressure sensor. To make vtec work with a ecu other than the itr i need that solenoid... but with the hondata s300 i noticed you can disable vtec pressure. Does this mean that i can keep the jdm vtec solenoid and just disable the pressure? or will i still need a usdm solenoid? Thanks for any help.
