Default need info about converting .42 a/r to .60 a/r

I have a couple of t3 saab turbos laying arounf the shop, they are .48 a/r turbine and .42 a/r compressor and i wondering if this can be converted to a .60 a/r compressor, does any of you guys know how

You need a .60 t3 compressor wheel and a .60 a/r comp housing. Then you'll need it balanced. For all that trouble you might as well buy a t3 .60/.48 or .60/.63.

well i just thought they may be usefull, but im sure that if i was to use this on my ls/vtec even thoght ill only make about 250 hp it would spool super fast!!!!!

THe useful thing about converting these old turbos is the Stage 1 exhaust. Stage 3 is about all you can find off the shelf, and most motor that don't see 8k don't need that large of a turbine wheel.

hey Hiprofile i dint know that, it makes perfect sense, i may reconsider doing it. Now i want to know what the spooling characteristics be like. would you know where to get the parts for the convertion

Or choose to put a t4 side on it... I happen to have a t4 housing/backing plate and compressor wheel for sale... 120+shipping. Was bought for the exact purpose you are looking at... I just got lazy.
