i drive a 98 itr, all stock. i raced with an nissa ser v spec on the high way and he took me by a car. he said all he had is complete exhuast system. 2.5 liter/ 175 hp/ 180 torque vs. 1.8/ 195 hp/ 130 torque. what do you guys think? stock for stock who will pull on the highway? don't be bais.

from an unbiased opinion, i think if you started around say 50mph I would have to give it to the SE-R. I saw a dyno graph somewhere that they compared a stock ITR to a stock SE-R, and there were some spots on the graph were the SE-R made 30-50 more hp then the ITR and tons more torque. I would say if you all were to hold it out well past 100mph you would eventually catch him and probably pass, but under say 110-120mph hes got you

You just posted this exact same question in the R forum. The R should have won hands down due to power to weight. The SE-R is a HEAVY *** car ... the R is much lighter with roughly the same whp.

 

i'm not going to lie. he took me by a car or less. we we got 100 mph. and slow down. i bet all the stock gsr and itr would think or better think twice before running with a ser v spec. i think they are pretty underestimate cars but they pull hard. 180 toque. thats no joke.

im a itr fella but some itr fellaz are shady. i like ya gsr, ls guy better. some of them think there to good or something. many times when i was trying to post something there they would tell me post some else. and then i come here. don't the itr forum should be more familiar with the itr's. itr question. itr forum, right.

These bench racing threads are BS. The Kills forum will not allow this either. As always, go race to find out since the driver is a huge influence on the outcome. And please do it on a closed course.
