Default Pic Request: 205/50/15 Tire of 00 Si Wheel

As topic states, I would like to see some nice shots of a 205/50/15 tire on a 00 Si wheel. The vehicle is a 00 Civic Si. Thanks.

Also what is the offset on these wheels?

offset is 45mm and the 205/50r15 is a little shorter in height than the stock 195/55r15

Thanks I appreciate it. Someone on here recommended 205/50/15 or 195/55/15 for the Si. I wanted the lower profile but 195/50/15 seemed too small.

i've had 195/50/15, 195/55/15, and 205/50/15 on my si wheels.

195/50/15 looked the best and had no rubbing issues, but also throws off the speedo a little bit. i don't particularly care about my speedo being off.

195/55/15 is the "correct" size, but it has a little too much sidewall for me. i'm currently running this size with some all-seasons on my beater.

205/50/15 was the best size for me at the track, but also rubbed a little bit.

you'll be fine with all the sizes... it basically comes down to your own preference.

195/55-15 is the same size and outer diameter as the stock tires. 205/50-15 is 1.6 percent smaller in diameter.

I would not get 195/50-15. It is 3.3 percent smaller in diameter, and that's quite a big difference.

The best matching tire size depends on which car you have. For example, 195/50-15 is the best match to the stock outer diameter for CRXs, del sols, and pre-'96 Civics, but 195/55-15 and 205/50-15 are the best match to the stock outer diameter for Integras and '97-00 Civics.

Your preference should be based on an understanding of the trade-offs. Tires with a diameter larger than stock may rub, will cause slower acceleration, and will add error to the speedometer and odometer. Tires with a diameter smaller than stock will also add speedo/odo error. Either way, the tires may look odd. As a general rule, it's hard to go wrong with tires as close in diameter to the stock size as possible.

Thanks for the information. NSX gave some good info in a post in another thread that basically said the same thing. I'm looking for speedo accuracy and clean look. I chose 205/50/15. Thanks
