i hope your Z is better than your typing and grammer. my head hurts from reading your posts. get yourself a cherry picker and pull out the axle. the pull the tranny off and replace the clutch. go buy a $15 service manual and rent the picker for $50. Spend the rest on your own beer.
sorry about the typing this damn keyboard sucks. well i have the manual the thing is noplace to do the work. my z is on racks in the work spot so that sucks for me. thats the thing no space or tools.
isn't there anybody in your area that can help you out? you don't need very much room to pull the tranny off, nor do you need many tools.
ok well i forgot about my dads friend i think he has a lift. what was it you said i needed a cherry picker were can i rent one?
i would recomend a cherry picker. the tranny probably weighs about 70-80 pounds. i usually jack the car way up on jack stands and lower the tranny out the bottom. check with a local autoparts store or rental place. make sure you have the alignment tool that comes with a new clutch
all the ones i've seen come with that round plastic alignment tool. they might be able to send you one, otherwise maybe you can rent one or borrow one
