got my wanna-be mugen muffler few days ago and had some parts re-welded so it wouldnt crack on me..looks ok to me

new vid









just thought i'd share


i was also thinking of painting it a flat black color..opinions?

yea i'll get a sound clip when i get it on..i wanted to paint it because in washington its illegal to have anithing to 'amp' exhaust noise..so cops will stay away..but i'll see how it is when it gets installed ..oh yea.i bought it off ebay..i just didnt trust the welding so i had it redone

Dude i live in Washington and cops around Vancouver just dont give a ****. Ive got friends running header+testpipe+straight through catback, and they've never gotten hassled. Maybe cause Tacoma's the captial or something

not to still the thread but i live in Va and state troopers are bitchs around here about exhausts

One of my friends got 2 tickects within 3 days last week for illegal exhaust. lol.

yea up here in tacoma (not the capital, olympia is haha) i got pulled over and the cop gave me a lecture on mufflers and printed out a page of why its illegal....yea my brothers integra never gets hassled at all..he's run'n with ls turbo with no cat just straight pipe..and his muffler sticks out way more than mine cause i installed mine tucked in a little..AND he passed emissions

ur muffler guy did it wrong
looks saggy
mine is the opposite of yours so the twin loop is tucked on the left

Agreed. If you flip the muffler 180*, then the exit pipe will be on bottom, and the loop pipe will be on top, that way the whole assembly wont have to have that downward angle.

Unless you like that kinda thing... Lol!

nah its not stock piping..its 2.25 custom piping. i had a muffler on before and that was the only way to mount it with me paying more..the onlie thing bad i see from it is that it isnt parallel to the ground..but its ok though..i wanted quiet and i got quiet

and the muffler is actually okay from a distance since it seems like the lip is hovering over it.
