hey mods if this is in the wrong place or out of line please move or delete, thanks
DO NOT BUY FROM PAINTFORCARS.COM
i ordered on 11/14 after a few days i get no e-mail from them saying they have shipped it so i send them an e-mail asking "just wondering if my order has been shipped yet, let me know. thanks"
after a few days still no reply so i resend the same email saying this is the second e-mail i've sent.
on 11/30 i decide to call and see what's going on. so i call and it goes to voice mail, i hang up and try again. i get a busy signal. a min later i call back and get the voice mail again so i hang up (i've sent unanswered e-mails, i don't want to leave a message) i call back in a min and a guy answers, i think his name was joe.
him: paint for cars...
me: yeah i just want to check on the status of my order.
him: you gotta call shipping for that 555-555-5555.
me: uh hold on let me grab a pen.
him: hurry up
me: WHAT
him: I AIN'T GOT ALL DAY HURRY UP
me: WOW you need to relax a little
him: YOU KEEP CALLING AND HANGING UP, HURRY THE expletive UP AND GRAB A PEN
me: well i called and got voice mail, i don't want to leave a message, i want to talk to someone
him: YOU GOT A PEN YET
me: yeah go ahead
him: 555-555-5555
me: cool thanks
click
i call the shipping and it goes to voice mail and someone is "beeping in" call waiting.
i click over and "joe" says "FUCKYOU"
click
so i'm standing there with a dial tone thinking. wow WTF just happened.
anyway my paint was at my house the next day, but i will never do business with them again. and i recommend that no one else does. their customer support is non existing. and who ever i talked to was an *** hole.
i've bought hundreds of things online and i almost always get a "shipping confirmation" e-mail. if not then when i send them an e-mail they always reply. not this place.
by the way i've read from a few people that they got shitty customer service from this place.
and to make it even worse. it's too cold to paint now. so i'm stuck with a gallon of paint sitting in the garage till spring.

dude, whenever that happens.. Ask for their name, and tell them that you want to talk to their boss. And if they are the boss, call BBB.

uh yeah when someone hangs up on you, you can't ask for their boss...
and i forgot to add that after he called me back i tried to call him and it went to voice mail
for the rest of the day it went straight to voice mail. kinda like he turned off the phone.
as for the BBB i thought about that, but then i got the paint.
