2000 civic si
aem intake
signal auto axleback with stock b-pipe
coilovers set to full stiff (16 way adjustables)
with NO WEIGHT REDUCTION AT ALL
stock BALD tires at stock 35 psi
about 60 to 70 degress weather

2.5 60 ft is pretty high...work on the launch and you could maybe get your car into 10 flat...

 

you can work on your 60ft.
its possible to drop down 1/2 a sec on the 60ft. with just a good launch.
I was getting 2.0 60's on stock radials by just launching right and feathering the gas. Stay at low RPMS also at the lanch.. once you dump the clutch, it'll go high but dont let it go to high so you dont get too much wheel spin. give just enough gas and then floor it once you feel its grabbing..

just takes practice and knowing how your car acts.

all of my reaction times are a consistant .6** and all of my 1/8 are a consistant 10.3***, i just couldn't break into the 9's, and i pretty much launched at 3500 to 4000 everytime. some guy there said its pretty much an average time for a civic si that is almost stock and weights 2600 pounds. do any of you know how to calculate this to quarter mile times? some official told me how but i just totally forgot.

 

reaction times doesnt make a diff in the 1/8 and 1/4 mile times
you can react 2 minutes later and still get the same times.

the main thing to work on is the 60ft.

your looking at high 15 second times with 10.3 1/8's

better lauching, better tires , better suspension, stay out of the water on street tires.

 

i know my tires suck ***! my suspension is more than good enough, and i pretty sure that i need to launch on at a higher rpm than 3500-4000

 

60' is the hardest thing but you gotta practice!
