I want to start work on a little project just to kill some time and I was thinking of putting a turbo on a stock civic hatchback dx. Anyone know if this is possiable and how I would go about doing it? Any help would br great.

or whatevers its called. the MEFI...?

but guess yeah, you can make a dx turbo. as far as i know,

 

Yeah, I'm going to make it MPFI, especially since I have a wiring diagram for it thanks to Sport Compact Car. But I just want to do the turbo as a side project......I guess for a lack of anything better to do, and I also want to see just what it'll be like. But any ideas on which turbo, manifold, and boost controller to use?

Can you guys get Garat turbos out there ? If you can then thats the baby ! (Problem being you need a front mounted intercooler not to fry the bitch)

get the small hf manifolds and you can bolt it up to a t25 off a mitsu, you can do this for fairly cheap depending on how resourceful you are, all you need to do is make a custom adapter piece to mate them. the rest is pretty much cake, if you wana save some cash just get a starion intercooler, got mines for 70 bucks. start looking around at the yards, thunderbirds came with garrett t3's.

Tanks guys. Also the SCC issue with the DPFI to MPFI swap is the June issue which just came out a couple of weeks ago, it's still on the shelves and isn't supposed to be taken off until the 27th.
