From what I have read, make sure to wipe off all your finger prints and any other oil that might have gotten in contact with the header before you start the engine!

Fo shizzle Yes it will get the 2.5inch collector mod. Everywhere i've read people say the 2inch collector is good for a B-series but chokes the H correct?

So any exhaust shop can do the collector mod?

Definitly do the 2.5 mod while its out of the car. I got the same header myself but with stock collector... i hear these headers are pretty damn good when this mod is done.

Be sure to post up some pics when/if you do it.

Yup, any good exhaust shop should be able to do it no problem....just be sure to have the pipe painted with high temp spray

Looks nice man congrats

carb cleaner...

do this:
1. install the header
2. spray the carb cleaner all over the header
3. wipe it down with a cloth
4. spray it again and then start the engine
5. while the engine is running..spray the header (it will start to change color)
6. revv it to 3k rpm and keep spraying the header until the whole header is bluish purple

after that happens, you got yourself a nice, clean looking header.

i was lookin' into getting some headers for my h22 also, but would I have to do some modding to it since it will be on a 96 accord sedan? btw, are the greddy headers better than the DC's?

Make sure you do the 2.5" collector mod... this header w/ the 2.5 collector is the best bang for the buck in my opinion. My Hytech header and 3" exhaust barely beat the greddy header and 2.5" exhaust, about 4-5 hp throughout the powerband. This header lost to my prospeed/anr header about 4 peak hp but beat it by about 20 hp in the midrange. I would definitely recommend this header to any H series owner out there on a budget.

^^Hell yeah

My $450 old greddy w/2.5 collector is on my brother's car now, and almost kept up with my rmf on the dyno, the rmf beat it solidly over the whole rpm range, but the greddy was close for half the price....though the greddy is tuned on his car and my car is untuned....either way...this header is awesome for hp/$$

Just wondering, what exactly is the 2.5in. collector mod? Is it expensive to do? Details?

Not meaning to threadjack, BTW. I just want to learn and be informed.

theres plenty of info, besides the fact that it is pretty self-explanitory....you just weld a 2.5" collector onto this header....

edit: disregard the assholeism.....i be drunk
