I am looking at purchasing an exhaust system for my 97 Accord LX with an F22B2 engine. I am going to be putting an H23 head onto another F22B2 block I have, if that matters. A friend of mine has a GReddy Evo2 on his Integra, and I like the pitch of it, but I don't know if any other exhaust have different gains..

I was looking into a Tanabe SMR Catback, or Invidia N1 Catback. How are these compared to the GReddy Evo2 Catback?

from what i understand gain from an exhaust is minimal anyway so get the one you like.

 

Even if you do get the same exhaust as your friend, it wont sound the same on your cars as it does on his car.

 

I know. I was just hoping that some people with these exhaust could tell me the difference and how they like theirs!

 

I have a EVO2 on my 95 EX. I don't like it personally. Two reasons: it is too loud and it hangs to low. I plan on switching to a RS*R or a Apexi world sport soon because both are significantly smaller and quieter.

O ok, lol, just making sure u knew that, but yea I have heard great things about the apexi n1 (on integras). Quiet and vtec sounds like a rumble.
