Is C/F hood played out?

I was thinking about to get C/F hood, but dam all the ricers has it.

I think it's played out, but I wouldnt call it rice.

The term "rice" gets thrown around too easily these days...

If you have a carbon hood and carbon wing and carbon hatch and you have a stock VX motor under the hood....... You are a RICER MOTHERFAWKER.

I have never liked the look of carbon fiber hoods. I have always painted and color matched mine in the past.

I never saw the point of CF hoods, unless it was a dedicated race car where weight savings acually makes a difference.
