so i finished a "poormans" HID rerto with surprisingly good results. It is a full retro with no prejectors, i was too much of wuss to cut my stock headlight. My 2001 honda f4i was the test subject. since the bike already uses H7 bulbs it was easy. i got the HID system from a 2003 infiniti G35 and went from there, i then used some h7 to d2r adapters and went from there. it was surprisingly easy to do. i used a SPDT relay. the hardest part was using the stock metal bar that holds the h7 bulb in to fit around the d2r bulb. here are the pics.

yeah it helped alot. i still do not know completly what the relay is for but i used it and it worked
