...have you checked for spark? Is it grounded at all three points (at least)?

ill make a video tomorrow when its light out. as for the TPS i had to put it on the new TB so i did touch it. so i guess i need to reset it.
so when we turn the ignition it cranks over. im pretty sure that gas is burning because when we give it some gas to let air in smoke come out the air filter? what this mean?

Timings off, recheck your timing belt. There should be no smoke coming out of the throttle body EVER!

Timing through the dist wont do anything like this. This is more of a cams are off type deal. Wrong firing order could also cause this but i think from your other thread you fixed that so its probably a timing thing. Set the crank to TDC and see where the cams are. Or better yet if you can put it to TDC and take pics of the cam gears and we could tell you if thats it if you dont know.

with the timing belt on TDC is the single mark away from the 3 timing marks on the pulley lined up with the triangle on the block. and the two engraved dots on the cam gears towards each other on the inside right?

if you're getting FUEL, SPARKS and your timing is okay and your car wont come on, make sure you check Compression? if you dont have compression it wont come on. bestest way is to get a compression test and test your car, if it read zero then adjust your valve lash. and if you have good compression and your valve lash is good. Then Ahh I hope someone with better info can help you.

Without the timing belt cover it looks like your off by a few. Since you dont have a cover stick a long extention down the first cylinder and wait til it reaches its highest point then look at where the cams are. But it does look like its off.

Compression should be anywhere from 150-200psi but your looking to see how close they are to each other when doing this. Your not going to get great numbers due to the motor being cold. Valve adjustment is different for different people and cams, i always use .007 intake and .008 exhaust unless a cam suggest otherwise.

You're not even positive you are getting fuel...

Your evidence that you're getting fuel is: "I saw smoke coming out of the throttle body"

Check more into that, hold an injector up, see if it squirts when you turn it over.

pictures are kinda blurry, if the belt was off by one tooth it would still start, it would just run really rough. did you have the distributor completely off by any chance? "smoking" or some other people call it "farting" ;P out of the intake definately means your timing is 180 out. just for ***** and giggles if your positive your plug wires are in order, take the dizzy out and switch that little piece with the two prongs that go into the cam around the other way, then stick it back in and see what happens.
