coolant leak

Default coolant leak

i got a small coolant leak, i found where it is and its not a bad hose or anything, it part #1 on this diagram http://slhondaparts.com/images...4.jpg its leaking from the bottom, is that the heater core? think its an easy fix? it leaks very slowly some days and alot other days? leaks all over my cat and stinks

That is the water valve for you heater. Are you sure its the actual valve and not the hoses where it connects to it?

yes im postive its not the hoses, its coming from the valve i guess, it feels like a plastic screen under the part where its leaking.

I suggest you replace both inlet and outlet hoses when you get your new valve since you're half way there. Just to be sure, leaks are pretty sneaky. Good luck
