Ive search ive participated all post but still cant figure out if:

I can buy a engine/tranny/ecu and axles etc off b16a1 and drop it in buying moutns. I can get the b16a1 stuff for 2000 and mounts for 450 used all canadian.

What other swaps can be done for this price range

 

If you get lucky you might be able to find a ls swap at a junkyard for cheap, then get motor mounts etc. it should come close to what you have. I would also suggest you figure out what you want to do with the engine, if you want to go na get the b16a if you want to go fi get the ls.

 

NA i want I have turbo d16a6 right now running 4 psi

I just need to know what else do I need besides:

tranny
ECU
Mounts

man here in winnipeg...the only import yard is charging 1500 for a high mileage 4gen Si complete motor, tranny, ECU. i can't believe that!!! anyways i got a friend of mine that will do a B16 swap for like $3000 i don't know if thats cheap, but i also heard that the wiring is not all that...oh yeah by the way...guess how much the shops here are charging me to do 2.25 custom piping...$200!!!!! plus i don't want to leave the system straight so i asked them how much for a cat....and guess what they said...another 200 just for some universal cat!!! how much is it there in BC ???

BC people get ripped. I can get the swap for $1300 CDN (engine, tranny, ecu) plus $150 (two axles), you get the mounts/linkage and you're good to go (in Toronto, ON).

The shops in Toronto WILL ship freight (I live 4 hours away), and it'll be under $200 bucks for shipping ($90 for me). I think this is STILL cheaper than BC ****.

We've bought (friends) 7 motors from one shop and they were all in excellent condition AND are ALL still running today (first ZC wasn't theres). HTH, Overkll

 

I'm in Edmonton and I'll sell you my ZC with engine, tranni, 89teg ecu, axles, linkage, air intake w/filter, strutbar, and some other crap I'll throw in for $1600cdn, no GST, shipping included. I also got a newer tranni I was gonna slap on and the engine comes with a (used) centreforce clutch, the valve cover is already polished really nice too.
