2007 Civic Si Sedan HFP Package
http://www.supercarnews.net/20...sedan
I know this kits aren't yet available from the dealer, but has anyone driven one of these?
Is the $3.8k price worth it for what seems like just larger tires?
How is it different than the Mugen?
I am going to be purchasing an Si Sedan soon, but am not sure on this kit. I guess I have a few months to think it over anyway until next Spring.

These kits are avaliable from the dealership(excluding the brake setup). Has anyone driven an HFP equipped Si or a 4 door Si?
The $3.8K price includes everything listed in the article you posted >

High-performance dampers enhance road handling characteristics and decrease body roll. Larger wheels and tires include 18x7 alloy wheels (plus 1-inch diameter) designed for high-performance 215/40ZR-18 tires (sold separately). A chrome sport muffler emphasizes performance and enhances engine sound. A full aerodynamic body kit (front, sides and rear) further elevates the style quotient of the entire vehicle. Interior and exterior HFP emblems complement the package.</TD></TR></TABLE>
... quite a bit more than just a "larger" tire.
Completeley different from Mugen pieces as far as looks and weight.
For reference .. Mugen styling compared to HFP styling ::

I have not driven an entirely HFP-equipped Si, but IGN did this past March:

Should you try to hook your Civic up with similar non-Honda aftermarket pieces, the cost of the non-Honda components will be about the same, only the aftermarket stuff won't have Honda's reliability, fit or warranty.
We'd recommend the HFP kit to anyone that is even remotely interested in it. You can never go wrong with factory-engineered performance -- especially if that factory is Honda. Before you accuse us of being blind Honda fanboys, remember that Honda knows a thing or two about performance -- it is the sole engine supplier for the IRL, after all.

Whats that mean? You act like the four and 2 door are such different cars. I know one thing the civic si coupe is heavy the four door is just heavier.

I wasn't asking the question, but trying to better understand the OP's original question as to if anyone had driven "one of these"? (not totally clear if hes reffering to the plain 4dr si or full-on HFP si)
I drive an HFP equipped Civic everyday so I dont have too many questions about it

HFP kit with the mugen wheels would look best in my opinion.
i wonder if you can get just the mugen wheels in the parts dept. after the cars are released.

Sedan IMO will look MUUUUCH better when it's dropped. I don't like the way they look at stock height. I dropped my coupe 2 weeks after i bought it and that's only cause it took a week for the springs to arrive.
