recomendations for coating and heat/cryo treating

Default recomendations for coating and heat/cryo treating

i would like to see if you guys have any sources to have parts coated for a reasonable price and recomendations for dlc's and ceramics, also any companies you would also direct me to for heat / cryo treat trans parts and micro finishing them thanks, parker

experiances and affordability is a plus too

300Below seems to be the big name for this. They're about an hour south of here and I've heard (on H-T actually) that the cost is pretty small ... even if you send an entire rotating assembly to them. http://www.300below.com
They have articles on there about cryogenic treatment for engine parts and what their recommendations are. Pretty informative.

other racing teams.... Website is misleading of the products.

Heat treating your transmission gears I would contact racersteve on here. He did mine and a few others. Still holding up fine.

I have talked with these guys a few times at the PRI show.They did a lot of the early development work on automotive applications.They had me sold.I have some ti work coming up and I plan on using these guys.As far as other coatings you can't go wrong with Calico or Swains.

used calico many times, until i found someone local that can do it for a much more affordable price

enahanced performance in bakersfield...... for the ramhorn mani, exhaust housing and the wastegate he charged 200 which isnt bad and has different colors like titanium.......
