hole for water... what is it for?

ok this is on my gsr block. there is a hole just below the hard water pipe on the back of the block. where does this go to? it is just along side of the oil filter

judging by that its either the oil pressure or the knock sensor.

its not the knock sensor because that is above the hard pipe
and its not oil pressure in water is coming out. besides i already have that in. i think is the thermostat sensor for the fan
