wanted to know where the sender wire goes... should i find the wire that leads into my guage cluster... i have a 95 LS.... also, where are good places to place ignition wires??

sender wire goes to the sender that came with the gauge. You must mount the sender unit into the block.

 

Or you must at least ground the unit to the block somehow. Mine is remote mounted on the firewall with piece of SS line and a brass T beetween the Autometer and stock sensor. A wire soddered onto the T, and grounded then to the block works for me.
