Default project won't start

just put an ls w/b16 tranny(obd1) in my buddy's ek coupe(obd2). everything is connected and not throwing any codes. motor was taken out of running car so timing should not be an issue. we are using an automatic ecu for now and the O2 sensor is broken. motor turns over and even feels like it wants to start but it just won't. could one of those 2 be the problem or does anyone else have any idea??

Check to see if your getting spark and if so then check to see if your getting fuel...The first 2 things i would check 02 sensor would just throw a code but it should still start. I had the same problem with mine and it was my fuel pump was bad..

have somebody crank over the motor and spray a small amount of carb cleaner in the throttle body, if it starts you have a fuel problem!

honda injectors are known to freeze up after sitting a while, give them all a tap with a 6 inch extention for a 3/8 ratchet and see what happens, you should be fine with an auto ecu..

Exact same thing, it's only Slightly different on the inside.

Did everything hook up right, being it was an odb2 harness?

the harness was good, just a little re-wiring involved. after checking evereything again, the injectors are not firing. they are either clogged or not getting signal to open.

thanks for the tip on tapping those injectors, i hope that works.

if not, what would be wrong that wouldn't let the signal get to the injectors to open up.
