You don't need a whole dash do you? I had the same problem with heavy headunits cracking the plastic enclosure/trim around it. Easy to fix. It should be just a double DIN plastic tray that slides out of the center consol (Should be around $30, but ugh, so makes stereo so easy to steal). Just support the underside of the head unit with some wood. I have a half-din crossover under my headunit, so basically I have a little block of wood under the crossover (resting on the chassis center tunnel) then another block of wood between the crossover and headunit. It's solid as a ****.

lookin for a black one. i have the installation kit for the head unit, and it has the tray that goes under the head unit, but that whole piece is too heavy. how did you put the wood under the setup that makes it stay there?

Just that foam-type double-sided tape secures the wood block to the electronics. Ghetto, but if it can't be seen me no care.
