trickling sound when accelerating
I get a weird trickle when accelerating. Gets faster the faster you go - seems to be coming from the engine. Goes away at about 4000 rpm. Not really loud but I want it gone. Any ideas? Sorta like a card in a bicycle spoke.
No - I don't think it's that. Best to describe it's like a tttttttttttt sound. Quiet and consistent. There was a similar thread to this before - could it be that my valves need adjusting?

<<<<Was thinking valves needing adjusting>>>>
I know when my oil needs changing the sound of my valves changes though . Maybe I am crazy but I can always tell when its time for an oil change just by the sound of the motor .

I just did an oil change. It's not there when i rev the car stationary. It's there when I press on the gas while moving. The second I let of the throttle it slowly fades away. It is in every gear in the middle rpm range.
